Death Note American debut!

The much anticipated arrival of Viz's Death Note anime series in the United Sates is almost here! Death Note (in an english dub) will first broadcast on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim October 20th at midnight!

Eeep, how exciting ^^ I don't care what you all say about Death Note. I've read all of it and I still love it to... death. I'm so excited!

If you all are like me, Viz Media made the Japanese language, english subbed episodes available for download online for only $1.99 now (that's like getting a movie on iTunes for cheaper)...!

I'm apprehensive about the voice acting in the English dub. I tend to stay away from English dub specifically because the purity of the anime just doesn't carry over in an English dub. I always listen to it and watch it though, but I feel this will be a particularly touchy series for me

I don't know who else has been watching Death Note. When I watch it I have a general feeling of disappointment. I can't really put t into words; I think disappointment is too strong a word--> Some parts are amazing~! But overall I think it's lost its energy with the dubbing.

Voice actors are okay. I can't say more than that I guess I still enjoy watching it! Last night was the third episode in the series, and everyone an still tune in and watch with me!
