I get all my Anime from Japan.
And I do pay the price for it. Each DVD is about 5000yen. Rolling Eyes

As for the inventory.
I have a Mac and use the following program:
Delicious Library http://www.delicious-monster.com/
From the barcode on the case of the DVD and gets the info of the DVD from Amazon (JP, US, CA, UK, DE, or FR) and create a Database of it with image of the case. study

Haha, this is why anime is not a hobby for the poor! In japan, DVDs are expensive anyway, but anime is an extremely expensive past-time either way. In many cases, this is why people illegally download anime online...which also contributes to those high prices. It's a viscious cycle >_<

I get my DVDs from anime stores and dealers from conventions, but I always do my research to see where things are coming from. I do not support bootleggers. Exclamation

Love ya~! ^.~

After getting like 2 DVDs off ebay i realized that they aren't the real thing, so now i just goto suncoast, f.y.e. or cons to get all of my anime. I just usually make sure it has one of the major companies' logo's

Yea, I once saw a Gundam DVD that I wanted when I was in Japan and it ended up costing 8000 yen(roughly 80 USD). I couldn't believe that one!

Out of curiosity, from which series was this 8000 yen Gundam DVD?

Despite the expensive price, if the show is good, I think it would be worth buying.

Gundam DVD

It was Char's Counterattack. I figured that since I was coming back to the US in a few months that I could just get it here. Incidently I still haven't seen it yet, but it's on my long list of things to do. You're right, many of the Gundam series/movies are worth it. Wink
