I want to make a costume

I want to make a costume, I'm gonna start looking for information too but if anyone knows any good sources of information I'd appreciate if you could tell me. I already know who I want for my next costume, and I'll give you a hint: I really love the .hack series.
So if anyone else likes .hack I'll probably be going to the next Anime Mid-Atlantic.
And maybe after I wear the one i make, I'll try to make an original costume. o.o who knows? I'm already psyched just thinking about wearing my costume.

What kind of "information" are you looking for? How to sew, patterns, crafty ideas? If you go to OtakuLifeRadio.com and tune into the DIY Cosplay Hour with pro-cosplayers PixieKitty and NeonGeneocide, I'm sure they can help you out a lot! You can listen in live, call in, email or use the chatrooms for questions. I listened to it last week and they really know their stuffs <3
