For those of you who do not know, the Akiba fest forums werre hosted by the TMP forums for a while, and Belf is a good friend of mine from that site! Belf go ahead and post all over that place Smile

My taken name is Wakusei, though in different anime con circles I've gone by Wakusei Moe, Moe, Mister Prince, or known by my most cosplayed appearance Sanji of One Piece.
The 2007 Halloween Akibafest was my first, but I've been hanging around cons for years. I'm a bigtime "in-character" personality, some of you might have seen me around and not even noticed it until now. That's one thing that makes me unique, as I notice there's only so many folks who do that (or use the word "folks" for that matter.)
I was Boken Blue, having rode in with Boken Yellow, at the Halloween concert. Other characters you might have seen me in at cons are Jiraiya, Sanji, Usopp, Luffy, Lupin, Red Haired Shanks, multiple Prince of Tennis characters (3 so far,) and I better quit before I end up taking a page. lol!

Anyone who hasn't met me yet, don't sweat it. I am steadily becoming much more active. See yall at the next event or con!

I will be the last to talk about your costume there because I'm mostly running around behind the scenes with my head chopped off so I only am able to catch bits and pieces of everything, but I am sure one of our Akiba Agents saw you and your great costume. I'd just like to welcome you for now and tell you thanks for coming out. Please post as much as often and let us know your constructive comments and things you'd like to see in the future.

Again thanks for joining us and we hope you enjoy this board as much as you did the event.

My name's Amanda (You can call me Manda, Panda, Hosnaps, or Dipp [Katamari Damacy Dipp... because that's usually who I cosplay]). I've been to AMA 4-7, and Nekocon IX and X. I've cosplayed as Dipp and Ichigo (Katamari Damacy), Tifamoogle (A mix between Tifa [FFVII] and a moogle... dont ask), Zabuza (Naruto), Kintaro Oe (Golden Boy), Mireille Bouquet (Noir), and a couple of random things. A few costumes in the works are: Baiken (Guilty Gear--to debut at Otakon 2008 ?), Pimp Raito (Death Note), and Rip Van Winkle (Hellsing). I love to cosplay, listen to Japanese music, watch anime, and all that good jazz. I always love to meet people at anime cons! So... yep, that's me.

I've been hanging around the Tenbu folks like ASU and others for several years now. I've done some work with them at events and also some music production for some of their projects.

From dealing with Akiba and Tenbu, I can tell you that you all are amongst a great group of folks here who really understand this culture and honor it with a great deal of respect!
