So what kind of J-Rock Artist or band strikes your fancy? I'm particularly interested in hearing about your favorites in this category, so please, rant and rave all you can!

Some of my favorites include some of the older ones:

Bz (...Old J-rock/Pop group, I believe they are the #1 best selling artist in Japan of all time, 75million albums sold in Japan alone. They'll be the first J-music group to get stars in Hollywood~!!)

Hide (NOT Hyde)

And classic lovelies like X-Japan and pop/rock band Southern All Stars

UNICORN TABLE (pop/rock...who cares )

I've looking for the singer who did the ending theme song of Coboybebop.
I love the song and her voice is very powerful.

I was talking to my american friends (not anime fans) about anime songs and they say "Oh, kids songs!!"
I was like nooooooooo!!!!! Japanese anime songs (and sentai) are done by rock/pop musicians, and they are good not because they are animessongs, but as pop/rock songs.
