Dell Studio laptop keyboard problems?
I have a fairly new Dell Studio 1735" laptop. Occasionally, when I type, it will be like someone clicked the mouse, and it'll have me typing wherever the cursor was located, instead of where I was trying to type. At first, I thought I was accidentally clicking, but I'm pretty sure that's not it. Has anyone else had this problem, or know how to fix it?
Your palm is hitting the touchpad and placing your cursor where your mouse was without you realizing it.
I was doing the same thing on my 1735" studio. The pad is super sensitive and single tapping it does a selection/moves your cursor.
I switched to using an external mouse, and turned off the touchpad. Was annoying the heck out of me.
